This article is about exactly what the title implies. And as an owner of a large dog I thought it would be interesting to read up on how to canoe with your canoe considering my dad has a canoe as well.
This article is written by Darren Bush explaining his experiences with taking his dogs canoeing. I found it interesting because he has been canoeing with his dogs for over fifteen years so he has many stories and tips to share when it comes to taking your dog canoeing. In the article he explains ways to make your dog feel more comfortable, happy and safe in your canoe. There's not much more I have to say other than to read the article because I quite enjoyed it.
I got a lot from this article because I have a yellow lab who loves to be with us and loves the water so next time we bring the canoe out it would be cool to see her reaction towards being in a canoe. Also after going on the four day canoe trip, I would consider doing something along those lines with my family and dog.
