Matthew Childs' 9 life lessons from rock climbing

Rating:****

This TED talk by Matthew Childs is about 9 lesson's that can improve your rock climbing skills. Some of them seem fairly basic at first and you would think it's just common sense, like his first lesson, "Don't let go" this doesn't seem like that hard of a rule to follow, but I realized after going rock climbing that he was totally right when he said our minds think about it way before our bodies actually do. Another thought was really important was, "Have a plan" this is his third rule and I think this applies no matter what your situation is, rock climbing or other wise, you always want to have a plan cause you never know where you may end up with out it. These are all very important rule, both for a novice climber, or those who have been doing it for several years.

I would totally recommend this video to anyone who wants to get more out of their rock climbing experience!
