Jane McGonigal: Gaming can make a better world

Rating: ***1/2

This article is about the "importance" to play video games since it inspires people into doing bigger and better things. This gaming creates a better "social group then what you experience in real life, since your more likely to like them because you played a game with them even if you lose. Gaming creates many quality things like; Blissful productivity, where you'll feel the need to complete something because it gives you self satisfaction, It creates a Social Fabric when you work with people online in a game to finish an "epic quest" to save the world and creates a unique bonding. It also makes Urgent Optimism when your about to have an "epic win", this will make a more positive society, and lastly it has Epic Meaning, when your saving the world it makes you feel needed and important in the world.

This was a good Ted talk and I would suggest this to everyone who thinks gaming is bad, since this might change your mind.
