Canoe Camping

Rating: **** This article talks about what to plan for and take on a canoe camping trip. First off you will need a canoe to bring on the trip. You will have to figure out if you are going to buy or rent one and how to get it to your location. Then you want to plan out your trip/route and where you are going and where you will set up camp and rest. It would also be helpful if you know how to canoe before you go out on a trip. Life jackets are mandatory when going canoing and you should have one that is properly fitted. Dont bring valubles on the trip because they would get wet or lost. You could also keep stuff in watterproof bags to keep important stuff secure and dry.You alse want to take care of your canoe and have a bucket and sponge just incase you were to get some flooding. It would also be very helpful if at least one person on trip knows first aid just in case someone were to get injured or sick. Alse, be prepared for anything ! This article taught me the essentials for canoe camping, which will come in handy when we are to go on out canoe trip next month.
