How to survive a lightning storm by Kevin Callan

Rate ***

Kevin Callan quickly tells us the Do's and Dont's about camping during a lightning storm. Do: squat in a ball with your feet on the ground in your tent or sit on a bag or sleeping bag so your heart is as far away from the ground as possible, and you should tryto get to a low and protected area. Dont: stand outside beside a tree, and dont leave right after you think a storm has stopped. You need to wait 30 minutes after the storm has stopped for it to be safe to go outside again.

He also gives some helpful tips like some saying to know when a storm will hit. For example; red sky at night sailors delight, red sky in the mroning sailors take warning. This could be really helpful for someone going on a trip where they know it will storm but they don;t know what to do during a storm.
