In this article Charles W. Bryant  talks about many different ways on how to make a fire without any matches or lighters. I really enjoyed reading this article. It taught me many new ways on how to start a fire. Ways I would never knew were possible.

He first talked about where and what you are going to need to do to make a good fire. You'd want to find a spot that's dry , flat, has some sort of wind protection, it should be close to your shelter and should be near by a source of water. To get this fire started your going to need to get dry sticks, big logs to keep it going, and something that will catch a spark easily.

He then talked about methods to start a fire. There were basic ones like using a magnifying glass, using two sticks etc. but there was one method that amazed me. Making a fire with a can and chocolate! For this method you need a can and chocolate or toothpaste. You need to rub the chocolate on the bottom of the can and get it shiny and reflective. then use the bottom of the can to reflect the light onto whatever you have that will catch a start.

This article definitely taught me a lot! I really enjoyed ready it and I recommend you all to read it to!
