This article is perfect for anyone new in Cross-Country Skiing because it offers several really useful tips that will make your experience more pleasant and safe.

The article is divided in two different sections where you can find good suggestions to be followed before going Cross-Country Skiing and while you are on the trail. These tips cover topics such as: how to dress properly, equipment, comfort, safety, technique improvement…

Looking at some of the warnings, I became aware of the hazards of this sport and cold weather in general. I realized that since I have never experienced winter before, I did not know anything about it so I will change my behaviour for sure. Knowing about "snow blindness", sunburns, dehydration or even avalanches will make me better at Cross-Country Skiing or any other kind of winter sport.
