Rating:****
The article “Outdoor Hiking: Why It's Good for the Body and Mind” is an informative article which describes all the benefits of hiking on both mental and physical health.

The article explains how hiking is an excellent form of exercise, it can be done in a group or by yourself. There are many different level options depending on how much you would like to challenge yourself. Hiking may not even seem like exercise as it is fun and since the landscape is always different.  Not only is hiking physically challenging, being out in the sun increases your vitamin D intake. This all comes to benefit your mental health since exercise in general decreases stress levels.

Personally, I found this article to be one that is a pleasant to read since it makes you realize how great hiking really is. We often forget to take advantage of all the things that nature has to offer us and hiking is a great way to appreciate the beauty of the world.
