And interesting new development may change how people are in the outdoors.

This article discusses how the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention have been working on a new, completely natural insect repellent using something called nootkatone. It's found in grapefruit, and extremely effect against mosquitos and ticks, as well as being safe enough to eat. It could also be used as a pesticide, as studies have shown that nootkatone can kill mosquitos and other insects with little to no effects on humans.

I found this article really interesting, because it shows how something like a grapefruit seems so harmless but in reality can kill bugs. As well, I am not a fan of smelling like deet for days after multiple showers, so something like this that would wash right off and smell like citrus is really appealing.
