Keep going when the going gets tough.

Keep going when the going gets tough
By. Craig Macartney, Ottawa Outdoors

This is an article I think anyone who camps should read. We all know that there is no such thing as a perfect camping trip. At one point or another we may tear a hole in the tent or ropes may break or damage the rods of a tent. The article tells you exactly what to do when damage happens while you camp. He tells what to do in the case of rips and hole, broken buckles, ripped out grommets and damage tent poles. He gives pointers on how to improvise with the thing around you and what not to use when damage occurs.
I think this is very useful for campers, as you never know when you might need to repairs. In less than a page of reading, campers get the basic knowledge on how to prevent a simple tear from turning into a disaster. You know what they say “A stitch in time saves nine.”
