In this article one expresses his views and experiences with poeple leaving garbage on the trails. He has seen his far share of garbage on the trails like broken bottle, tin cans, ect even when there are clear signs saying no bottled or canned goods. He has found many dangers and unsafe items along the trail, most of which he will pick up and bring it back out of the park but when he came across a camp site with a stash of old dirty diapers he was disgusted and for obvious sanitary reasons could not pack it out. He notified the park and they said they would arrange a clean up but what he finds odd is that there is no recourse for the couple that left the garbage there is the first place. If people aren't penalized for leaving garbage what is going to make them stop?
