This article explains the story of Andrew Brash. In May of 2006 Brash was attempting to climb Mount Everest. On his way he found Lincoln Hall who's team had abandoned him near the top. Brash and his team gave up their climb in order to bring Lincoln down and save his life. They were viewed as heroes. Brash later returned to attempt the climb again.
It is truly good to see someone do something like that for another. It makes you wonder if you would do the same for someone in trouble. It is inspiring to think that these men gave up their goal (temporarily) to save the life of a man they did not even know.
