Place of Wonder: Sea Kayaking in British Columbia's Queen Charlotte Islands

Rating: ****

If you are a sea kayaker and you want to kayak somewhere beautiful, with many hidden coves then the Queen Charlotte Islands in British Columbia is the place for you. It is suggested that you have lot of experience with navagation, paddling and wilderness skills though.

This article is about the Queen Charlotte Islands in British Columbia and all about them. It talks about all the things you should do before you go kayaking here, such as registering your trip with the Canadian Coast Guard and notify them of your return. As said before, you also need experience. It also mentions the type of animals that live there, and the history of the islands. Overall, it was quite an interesting article.

This article helped me learn about the Queen Charlotte Islands without even going there. I learned that there are Horned Puffins living on the islands, and the sea life includes whales, porpoises, and seals. I learned not only about the islands themselves, but what you should do to prepare for kayaking here. I would probably need a lot more experience than I have to kayak in these islands, according to the article.

This article is great if you are planning on kayaking in the Queen Charlotte Islands.
