People say that it’s unhealthy to have body fat. But in fact it’s unhealthy not to have body fat. The average male marathon runner has 16% body fat. The women’s average is 20%. Under that and you could possibly not be doing to the best you can because you do not have as much energy stored in the fat to support you. Many people are obsessed with having too much body fat. People that are ultra thin may have problems with their immune system and reproduction systems. Body fat is needed for both of those systems.
I think that this article made me believe that body fat is healthy. Before I believed that it was totally unhealthy and useless to the body.
