Swim, Bike and Run to better health



This article talks about what you should do to train to do a triathlon, how it started and why it is good for you.



Triathlons are the most intimidating event known to the world. The Ironman which is the most running, swimming, and biking you can do for a triathlon. It consists of 3800 meter swim, a 180 km bike, and a 42 km run. Many people have run in the Ironman, many not being able to finish. There is Try-A-Tri for those who are just getting into the sport. You can choose how far you want to swim, run and bike. If you’re planning to run in a triathlon it takes almost a year of training. It is just as much as a physical as mental. You will have to be ready to take on anything.



This article has taught me a lot about triathlons. I didn’t know how they started and where the first one was. Know I know how much effort and time goes into this sport just to complete a race. I hope one day I can accomplish a triathlon and make it to the finish line.
