As a runner, I really like knowing how I can improve my technique and prevent muscle soreness afterwards. This article shows how the proper way to run uphill on trails and to prevent injury or strain to your muscles. The best way to prevent muscle strains is to keep a steady pace the whole way through a run. Try not to slow down before or after a hill. When you are running up the hill don't just run on your toes, try to run on your whole foot to give your calves a break. On the downhill part, take longer strides while putting very little pressure on your legs.

These are just some of many very useful tips if you do a lot of trail running. These tips will help the blood circulate more easily throughout the veins in your legs therfore your muscles will get more oxygen and you are less likely of getting muscle strains if you follow these few easy running tips.
