Coyotes make a home in P.E.I

Coyotes make a home in P.E.I

This article is about coyotes that lived in Northumberland Strait. They crossed the ice over to Prince Edward Island during the winter. They settled on the island. Coyotes were starting to get hit by vehicles and got killed. They live in packs but when they are under pressure, they produce larger litters. Which means that they pressure of a new habitat they are having more babies in a smal province. They will soon be over populated.

In this article I learned that coyotes can be very dangerous even if they are alone. Therefore while camping it is important to know what to do when you encounter a coyote. It is important to understand the dangers and know how to be safe.
