We left this project for the coldest day of the year, we had to leave our last day in Outdoor Ed with a bang! This recipe was really easy to put together, we got our fire started really quickly and got our dutch oven on the coals in efficient time. I had learned from last years mistakes, that having aluminum foil surrounding the oven helps a lot in retaining heat (especially on such a cold day!) and catalyzing the baking time. It took about 30 minutes to cook. However, class was ending and we took the buns off the coils a little bit early leaving them a bit undercooked. A quick and easy recipe!
