GORP
GORP is a useful outdoor site that has information on outdoor gear and equipment, tips for trips and a section with frequently asked questions involving the outdoors, but the site's main purpose is for trip planning.
There is an interactive program with a map of the United States. You pick what region you would like to visit and what activities you would want to do (paddling, rock-climbing, snorkeling, etc.) and the program gives you a list of the best trips for you. There are also options to the side to pick another country to travel to, however most of the site is for the United States.
This website is great for outdoor enthusiasts looking for a new adventure to embark on and I would highly recommend it if anyone is hoping to travel to the United States. I would definitely considering using this site for any future trips of mine.
