Rockin’ out in stony swamp Here’s a different taste of mountain biking-Glenn Wallace

Rating- **** Excellent

There are many different mountain biking trails in Ottawa for all different levels of riders that are well known.  Some well-known ones are south March Highlands and Gatineau Park.  Stony Swap is in the NCC Greenbelt which has many obstacles and you will have to manoeuvre tight and twisting trail, which can be quite challenging.

The article talks about two different trails one 5 km and one that is seven km and tells us why they are such great trails for two different levels of riders and to reach them.  They also talk about when to go and what to bring.  Late May to early November is mountain biking season.  You should bring bike repair gear, a trail map, and a very filling snack.

I learned a lot of stuff like I didn’t know Ottawa was known for mountain biking for instance.  I can also go online for a map of NCC trails.
