KAYAKING WILD SARDINIA
Journey to the wild heart
of the Mediterranean
BY GRANT THOMPSON
Rating: ***
This article
explains in great detail what it is like to kayak on the crystal clear waters
of Sardinia, Italy. This article
compares the experience of the trip to the author’s previous experiences in North
America. As a whole it promotes new adventures
and highly suggests Sardinia as a must to visit.
The
article explains reasons to visit Sardinia and why it is such a great place for
kayaking. Sardinia is very different
from North America because of the ruins of castles that line the shores and a
stunning view of ancient civilization. This article also states the necessary
equipment used for this kayaking trip such as scuba gear to enjoy the water as
well as the land. The trip is a nine day
kayak tour to fully experience the unique culture, food and history of
Sardinia. This Italian island is a
UNESCO world Heritage site therefore the land is preserved and fairly unscathed.
I
really enjoyed this article for its unique way of captivating the reader’s attention
through description. This article just
adds to my already immense interest in traveling. It has always been my goal to travel to
remote and untouched places in the world to explore. Now that I have read this article I can add
Sardinia to the list. Overall this
article was very informative and defiantly sparked my interest in visiting this
island in the future.
