Rating:**** Stand up paddle boarding has becoming a summer go-to workout as it strengthens and tones every inch of your body,is easy to learn and is an excellent form of cross-training. This article explains that although stand up paddle boarding is an amazing sport to start up, it requires a lot more focus and strength than it seems. There is a lot of balance needed to stay up right on the board, which means your brain and all of the finite muscles of the ankles, knees and hips are constantly firing and working together. As a beginner, you would start in an upright position on your knees until you are ready to stand. In addition, this article offers tips on how to to optimize the fitness benefits of SUP such has engaging your core muscles. Paddle with your whole body - don't just paddle with your arms. I really enjoyed this article as SUP is an activity that for the past couple years I have wanted to try. This article has given me much more information for if I was to ever rent a paddle board or try the sport I will now have some background knowledge.
