Portaging Made Easy

**

This article is about the backbreaking pain portaging can have. Park rangers from Algonquin Park provide some tips for people to portage without that pain. Many people doing their first portage, after a long portage of about 600m or more complain about the pain in the back from the canoe, Others say its the legs that do the work and if your back hurts you're portaging incorrectly.

This article had given me some good ideas next time i ever have to portage a canoe, and I will probably try them.
