Trading Dreams - Tim Shuff

Article #3: Trading dreams
This article was an editorial written by Tim Shuff. In this article he talks about having just started a family and how he’d just had a baby girl and said “the prospect of having a family to support convinced me that it was time for a career change.” He decides to sell his nordkapp which I’m not quite sure what that is or if it’s just a brand name but I’ve got a hunch that it’s the brand of his kayak because he needed the money to pay for his training to become a firefighter(his new career choice). He talks about how he’d loved the outdoors and writing which is why his previous career choice was an editorial for an outdoors magazine, i.e. adventure kayak which is why id thought that a nordkapp was a kayak. He also talks about how he started spending more time in the office than actually going out and kayaking which was his hobby and passion. This article was basically just his last article written and he explains why it is and also says that since he’s doing this he’ll have more free time to be doing his favourite thing kayaking.
I’d just like to say that this article kind of makes me laugh because I think of Mr. Brower and how he spends a lot of time sitting at a desk or in front of a class instead of actually doing it just for fun he does it for a job but sir I’m not trying to be mean it just if u actually read this the first thing that pops into your mind is Mr. Brower but maybe that’s your thing but it’s not this guys. I’d just advice you to read this article and when you do it’ll almost guarantee that Mr. Brower will come up in your head and sir don’t worry its’ not a bad thing or anything.
