The Pain Of Plain

Rating: ****

This article was interesting and well written. The title: The Pain Of Plain, represents a race across the Eastern Cascade Mountains in Washington State. The race is advertised as "the Plain 100", it's called this because the race starts in a city in named Plain and it's a 100 mile race through rough and trecherous terrain that must be completed in 36 hours or less. An extremely daunting task that seems practically impossible to most of the worlds population(including me).

This article affected me by shedding light on the things we have that make our life so easy. I personally would never set out on an adventure like this, but now that i've read about it and seen what needs to be overcome to complete these things. It helps me realize that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. If you're determined enough you can do whatever, whenever, wherever.
