TED Talk - Andy Hobsbawm says: Do the Green Thing

Rating: ****

This speaker's video is pretty short, but he makes his point clear: be creative.

He says how humans can be really creative in making education appealing, tolerance acceptable and turn a spotlight on deprivation. Global warming and climate change are becoming serious and rapidly growing problems, and Andy Hobsbawm says that we need to use that creativity to inspire people to react to these changes to make a difference and to be creative against climate change. For a change, walk to work, school or anywhere instead of driving. Be green! He cleverly uses regular street signs to tell the story of how someone's liek changed when they made the decision one day to walk instead of drive. Humans are very capable of being creative because of our imaginations, and all we need is for people to get thinking and get their ideas out there! Anyone can make a change, and everyone should do what they can to help our planet and go green.
