Against All Odds

Rating ****

This article is about the world famous Lance Armstrong, winner of 7 consecutive Tour de Frances after his battle with cancer in the 1990's. It explains Armstrong's struggle with an advanced form of testicular cancer, which subsequently spread to his lungs. He travelled the country, looking for opinions on his condition, and searching for a reliable treatment. As a pharmacist, the author said he was astounded with Armstrong, how well he took the treatment.

I enjoyed this article, even though I'm familiar with his story, like most people. He acts as a symbol of hope and determination for everyone, whether you're even an athlete or cancer patient. Being an older article made in 2001, it also has not record of the 5 more Tour de Frances he won afterwards, showing how amazing even recovering and winning 1 race was.
