Rating:*****

Trekking poles are one of the best things to have when in the outdoors.

Have you ever felt so tired you feel like your going to collapse? Were you using a trekking pole? If you said no, chances are you over exerted yourself. Using a trekking pole distributes the weight you are carrying throughout your body, making your pack feel a lot lighter than it really is. It also reduces stress on your legs and back so you can hike more comfortably. The pole also has several other uses. For example, if you sprain your ankle or break your leg, the pole can be used as a crutch or even a shin splint. While canoeing or kayaking you an use it to spear fish or use it as a depth gauge. There are endless possabilities to use the trekking pole, and at a price ranging from $20-$200, you can't go wrong with purchasing one. If you don't have any money, go find a stick in the forest and make your own.

I enjoyed this article because it shows you how many uses a simple stick could have. Also the fact that it makes your hike less painful is shocking because all it is is a walking stick.

I highly recommend this to any outdoor enthusiast because it makes your time in the outdoors so much more enjoyable.

  1. India is a vast country with the Himalayan Range forming its northern boundary. Its climate and geography are complex, so when considering your tour you need to plan carefully where to go, when to go and what your budget is.
