Quest for fire (redo of Article Assignment 2)

This article is well-constructed, very informing and an excellent easy read for beginner campers. It has everything you need to know about starting fire, from the best fire starters to choosing the best spots.
This article has made me think about how all along I haven’t made the best choices about starting fires. I had no idea that the sap on pine cones was so flammable and a great fire starter. It made me think about how easy it is to start a fire when you have the right tools and spots.
I have learned that it is easy to construct a wind breaker out of wet green wood or rocks so that the wind does not make you lose control of your fire. When you build your fire using tree bark from a tree that has pines, it is generally a fast flame. When you use a bark that comes from a tree with leaves is usually lasts longer and is stronger.
This article has made me change how I will act around a fire and with fire. I will be more cautious seeing as it can lose control quite quickly and get out of hand. I now know if you are responsible with fire, it has many possibilities.
