Everything you need to know about Nordic skiing, they will inform you in this article.

David and Lise start their article by talking about the equipment you should use while skiing such as poles, ski boots, bindings and skis. Next, they go on to talk about the preparation and techniques to use while waxing your skis. There are different types of wax for different weather you plan on skiing in. The type of clothing you wear is really important as well. You should have a wicking layer, a medium thickness layer and an outer shell to keep wind out but also let you breath. This article will let you know where you should buy equipment and clothing. Some tips about skiing and recommended places to try out the trails in the Ottawa region.

This was a great article for me to read because in class we are going to Gatineau park to ski and its good to research and have some background knowledge before you try something for the first time. The article gave me more information about the difference between Skate skiing and classic skiing.
