Adventures Of A New Canoeist - Dave W.

The reason I chose to use this article was because last week, a friend of mine and I were tipped in a canoe. Ryan and I were both canoeing when suddenly something hit us! Before we knew it, we were both in the water. Though it was a very pleasant day, the water was frigid. 

This article is not a very well written article though it educates a beginner canoer. It is written informally, and in certain cases, the way it is written makes it hard to understand what the author is trying to say. To begin, Dave W. says that when he began canoeing for the first time, he made many mistakes and that getting dumped became something he was used to. He then goes on to explain to us the different procedures a beginning canoer can take (canoeing, transport, ex).

Though an educational article, reading it was a difficult task. This is an article for people who are not taught how to canoe and are going for the first time.
