In this article it explains what the differences between a Kayak and Canoe are. This article has four steps about the differences between the two. In the first step of the article it explains what kayaks and canoes are referred to; the kayak is referred to as a K1 while the canoe is referred to as either a C1 or C2 depending on how many people are in the canoe. In the second step to this article it shows you the differences in the paddles that are used to control the boat. It explains that the kayak user has a double bladed paddle while the person in the canoe uses a single bladed paddle.  The third step to this article explains how the seating differs between a kayak and canoe. In the final step to this article it says that it is not unusual to have a party were it is a mix between the two.

I felt like this related to outdoor Ed because we canoed but we did not kayak so I felt like it was good to learn the differences between the two. I also think that it would be cool if we had the option to learn to kayak!
