No booking, no cost, as long as you have equipment, you can go on your own free time. Nordic skiing is the perfect getaway from busy roadways and claustrophobic gyms, it gives you the fresh air experience. Although I have cross country skied before, it made me realize how amazing of a sport it truly is. There are so many places to ski close by that you could go anytime during the winter, without the long drive or the cost of an alpine ski hill.
