This article explains all the essentials when planning a winter camping trip. From the pre-planning of your trip to all the little details like what to pack and how to build the right snow shelter, this article has got it all. What I found helpful is although it is a pretty long article it mentions everything is great detail to ensure that the reader understands.
I think that this article will be useful going into the colder months because we will be building our own snow shelters and will need to determine what to wear and pack. Although we won’t be planning an actual winter hiking and camping trip we can use the information from this article to better improve our experience while winter camping.
