The Exercise Benefits of Rock Climbing (Mark) Article #1

Rating: *****
In this article it talks about how good rock climbing can be to help you lose weight and tone your body. It says that rock climbing at a gym or outside for 30 minutes or more you can burn more than 400 calories and it builds up practically every major muscle in your body since you use both your legs and upper body. It also says that like other activities that build up cardio like running and swimming, rock climbing is a great way to build up your cardio and stamina.

This article I found was good and descriptive of how rock climbing can help and it talks about how it can help anyone fit or not, he displays this by giving a section for losing weight by rock climbing and then a second section for already fit people who can use this to tone their body and muscles. I also liked this article because it gave great examples of how doing this can help you and also used a lot of interesting statistics from reliable sources such as only 30 minutes a day of rock climbing is the optimal amount to maintain a good cardio. I thought that overall this article was straightforward and I learned that rock climbing is not only fun but also a good exercise, which I did not know before. I would recommend this article to anyone wanting to advance on their cardio or muscles, or just lose weight.
