Patience is a virtue is an article that gives advice on outdoor photography. They explain the key requirements to get good photos. The main concept of photography is having patience. It explains how even photographers who invest a lot of money in equipment won’t be as successful as those who are willing to wait for a perfect expression, light and head angle to take a photo. Only a photographer who commits the time will shoot a better quality photo. This technique applies to landscapes, animals in the wild portraits and many other things. The point is waiting for all the pieces to fall into place. According to Russ Burden, the more you wait, the more your photograph will reward you.

This article affected me because I’m interested in photography and I agree from experience that being patient when taking a photo will pay off because you have to hold the camera steady and focus. When I read this, I could picture for example if you’re trying to photograph a butterfly, you have to wait for the right moment when it lands in the right position before you take the picture. I learned that taking your time when taking a photo is worth it in the end. This article has inspired me a lot to do more outdoor photography.
