Quest For Fire was an article explaining how to start and sustain a fire during the winter. I found this article helpful considering the class will soon have to make winter fires for our overnight camping.

This article explained the perfect site to start a campfire, for example away from trees and away from your tent. the article also touched on the best way to start your fire in the snow. Such as using cotton balls covered in vaseline, pair with pine cones. Lastly the article stated a few key safety pointers on winter fire starting.

I enjoyed this article because I thought it was very helpful and I found there were many tips that I can use towards the class. The article will prepare me for having to build a fire in the snow next week and I will know what to do and what not to do.
