127 hours: Aron Ralston's Survival
3.5/5 stars

This article is about Aron Ralston's shocking survival after being pinned under a rock for 127 before amputating his own arm and finding his way to survival. Aron Ralston's shocking story is world known by his movie where he is played by James Franco.

Aron Ralston left home to go on a walk through the Canyonlands, an area in Utah known best for it's vast areas of caverns and caves. Aron, without telling anyone, left for the day and while descending into a cave he fell and was pinned against a rock. Aron then tried everything he could to move the rock but it wouldn't move. After hallucinating and days without water Aron decided he'd have to cut his own arm off with a dull multi tool. Aron was med-evaced and survived the ordeal. This situation proves the great importance of telling people when to expect you to be back and where you're going.
